Jalisco detects five potential investment projects during Hannover Messe

Jalisco strengthens its internationalization agenda, as in the recent work tour in Germany, the state delegation that attended Hannover Messe , the most important industry fair in the world.
On this occasion, the Secretariat of Economic Development (Sedeco) presented the benefits that Jalisco offers for companies, for which it managed to position the entity as the best destination in Mexico for new investments.
During the meetings and approaches with senior managers of international corporations , five potential investment projects were identified from countries such as Brazil, Germany and the United States, in the Internet of Things sectors, automation of processes for the electronics industry in the field of aeronautics, automotive, medicine, consumer products, design and manufacture of components for the automotive industry, also furniture design and software design.
In addition, two expansion projects of the companies TH Automotive and Vectralis Baumann were consolidated , which are part of the high technology sector, and will invest a total of six million dollars in the state .
The General Strategic Coordinator for Growth and Economic Development, Xavier Orendáin De Obeso, highlighted that Jalisco's participation in the Hannover Fair was thanks to a joint collaboration with the Association of Industrial Parks of the Jalisco State (APIEJ).
"Jalisco's presence in Hannover confirms the importance of the international agenda that we have undertaken since we began the phase of relaunching and growing our economy, our stand in Hannover was a public-private partnership, showing that this alliance between entrepreneurs, between the productive sector and the Government, bears fruit and transcends borders”, he affirmed.
The Secretary of Economic Development, Roberto Arechederra, pointed out that being able to incorporate companies into national and international production chains is through high-value connections, not only in Mexico, but in the world, and stressed that the only way for the foreign investment arrives in Jalisco is by going out to look for them
From May 30 to June 2, 28 meetings were held with companies such as CISCO, Schaeffler Technologies, IBG Automation, Bosch, SIEMENS, IFM Electronic, Nokia and Volkswagen ; among others, in order to generate strategic alliances that allow the realization of dual education projects, digitalization of SMEs, knowledge transfer and identify opportunities that Jalisco has in logistics issues, and whose development of work between Sedeco and these companies will be carried out in the next months.
In addition, links were achieved with the Confederation of German Industry ; the Embassy of Mexico in Germany ; the investment promotion agency for the Greater Phoenix , Arizona area of the United States. There was also talk of generating commercial alliances with the Government of Portugal for future investment projects in advanced manufacturing and metalworking.
