Jalisco continues to consolidate its position as one of Mexico’s leading advanced manufacturing hubs, driven by strategic investments from global companies. The inauguration of Building B33 at Flex Guadalajara Norte, in collaboration with Nespresso, represents a key step in strengthening the state’s productive and technological capacity.

This development is part of a growing trend in the state: the installation and expansion of high value-added operations that integrate innovation, automation, and specialized talent.

Infrastructure that drives high-value production

The new building expands manufacturing capabilities in sectors that require high standards of quality, traceability, and efficiency—elements that are increasingly relevant within global supply chains.

The presence of companies such as Flex and Nespresso reflects confidence in Jalisco’s industrial ecosystem, characterized by its infrastructure, human capital, and logistics connectivity.

An ecosystem that attracts global investment

Jalisco has positioned itself as a strategic destination for foreign direct investment, surpassing $1.25 billion in 2025. This is further supported by the state’s innovation capacity, generating one out of every five patents in Mexico.

These indicators reflect not only economic momentum, but also the consolidation of an environment that supports technology-driven and specialized manufacturing.

Export leadership and nearshoring

Industrial growth has translated into tangible results in foreign trade. In 2025, the state recorded a 66% increase in exports, consolidating its position as the country’s leading non-border exporter.

This performance is closely linked to the nearshoring trend, which has accelerated the relocation of production chains toward regions with competitive advantages such as Jalisco.

Industry-government collaboration

The consolidation of this ecosystem has been made possible through collaboration between the public and private sectors, creating conditions for certainty, investment, and technological development.

Projects like this not only increase production capacity, but also strengthen supplier integration, talent development, and the sophistication of local industry.
