Inventec lays the foundation stone for a $ 300 million complex in Ciudad Juárez

With an investment of 300 million dollars , Inventec , a company of Taiwanese origin, laid the first stone of what will be a new industrial complex, which will generate 5,000 new jobs in Ciudad Juárez .
The event was attended by representatives of the SIDE, index Ciudad Juárez and the company. This new complex is added to the company's plant located in the south of the city.
“We are committed to making this type of project possible. It is time to give it the position that the city deserves in the industrial area; join this wave of creating higher quality jobs, which take advantage of new technologies and allow us to build more robust ecosystems in the industrial development of our territory ”, said Ulises Fernández, Undersecretary of Innovation and Economic Development of the central-south region.
It is worth mentioning that the Inventec company began operations in Juárez in 2007; and has a presence in the Czech Republic, China, Taiwan, the United States and Brazil.
This new plant will produce boards, servers, as well as connections and other computing components. The project includes green areas, a gym, a library and an outdoor sports unit.
