Industria Sigrama Opens New Plant in Coahuila to Strengthen Technology Supply Chain for Siemens

La Laguna continues to consolidate its position as one of northern Mexico’s most dynamic industrial hubs with the opening of Industria Sigrama’s new plant in Torreón, a project that supports productive diversification, job creation, and the strengthening of Coahuila’s manufacturing ecosystem.
With 39 years of experience in La Laguna, Industria Sigrama takes a strategic step forward through this expansion, which will allow the company to surpass 500 employees and strengthen its presence in both national and international markets. Its partnership with Siemens, one of the world’s leading technology companies, highlights the robustness of Coahuila’s industrial base.

Investment, Employment, and Measurable Growth in Coahuila
The project represented an investment of MXN 50 million, leading to the creation of more than 80 new jobs through the operation of the new plant. The facility currently has a monthly production capacity of 200 units, with expectations to reach 600 units by the end of the the year, primarily for Siemens-related production. This growth positions Sigrama as a critical link in the region’s industrial value chain.
Founded in 1987 in Torreón, Coahuila, Industria Sigrama specializes in the design, manufacturing, and assembly of electrical panels in medium and low voltage, as well as automation, control, protection, and metering panels, built according to CFE specifications or customized industrial requirements.
