Hidalgo Secures Nearly 17 Billion Pesos in Investments for Major Economic Growth

The state of Hidalgo is gearing up for significant economic growth with incoming investments totaling nearly 17 billion pesos. Governor Julio Menchaca announced that this amount will fund 21 projects across various municipalities, including Pachuca, Apan, and Tulancingo. These projects will span key sectors such as food, automotive, chemical, metalworking, and manufacturing.
This announcement marks the fifth investment disclosure by Governor Menchaca's administration. Altogether, there are now 87 projects involving a total investment of 84.112 billion pesos, creating 122,000 new jobs.
Governor Menchaca emphasized that these efforts are the result of ongoing collaboration with the private sector, always seeking the best opportunities for the state. He also highlighted the continued work to attract more investments and projects that benefit the people of Hidalgo.
Additionally, Carlos Henkel, Hidalgo's Secretary of Economic Development, stated that "this record figure in attracting private investment once again demonstrates that this government translates tangible achievements into benefits and well-being for the people of Hidalgo."
