With an investment exceeding MXN 325 million and the creation of more than 300 direct jobs, Taiwanese company HCMF inaugurated its new plant in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, dedicated to the production of sunroofs and sliding roofs for the automotive industry.
During the ceremony, Jeffrey Hsi, President of HCMF North America, emphasized that the opening represents more than an operational expansion: “This new plant is a symbol that our company truly believes in the talent, dedication, and spirit of Mexican workers.
Automotive Expansion and Regional Strengthening
The Ramos Arizpe facility reflects a regional growth strategy aimed at strengthening the North American automotive supply chain by leveraging Coahuila’s logistical advantages, labor stability, and skilled workforce.
“We could not have achieved this without the support of state and municipal governments, our business partners, and the warm welcome of the community,” Hsi added.
Specialized in transportation equipment, HCMF joins the industrial ecosystem of southeastern Coahuila, reinforcing the state’s role as one of Mexico’s leading producers of vehicles and auto parts, and a benchmark in national exports.
“Inaugurating HCMF’s plant is a milestone for Coahuila’s automotive sector. The company will manufacture sunroofs and sliding roofs, creating hundreds of jobs for our people. We will continue working to attract new investments and drive economic growth,” stated Governor Manolo Jiménez Salinas.
