Grupo JIBE Invests More Than 300 Million Pesos in New Coahuila Industrial Park

The Laguna region strengthened its investment-attraction infrastructure with the inauguration of Penta Industrial Park Laguna, a new industrial hosting complex developed by Grupo JIBE in Torreón, representing an investment of more than 300 million pesos. The project will expand the supply of space available to domestic and international companies seeking to establish operations in one of northern Mexico’s most dynamic industrial regions.

Penta Industrial Park Laguna Expands Coahuila’s Capacity to Attract New Investments

During the launch of the industrial park, Governor Manolo Jiménez Salinas emphasized that the opening of the development reflects the private sector’s confidence in continuing to invest in Coahuila. He stated that the state maintains favorable conditions for business growth through coordination among government authorities, the private sector, and civil society, while also providing legal certainty, labor stability, infrastructure, skilled human capital, and security.

Security and Certainty Drive the Arrival of Private Capital

The governor stated that despite the international economic slowdown recorded in recent months, Coahuila has managed to preserve a competitive investment environment through collaboration among the different sectors. He added that the state’s security model is one of the principal factors strengthening investor confidence and helping consolidate Coahuila as an attractive destination for new industrial projects.

Torreón Mayor Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís said the arrival of the new industrial park confirms the period of economic stability currently experienced by the state. He noted that institutional coordination has helped strengthen Coahuila’s competitiveness, attract new investments, and consolidate a favorable environment for business development and the expansion of productive activity.

Grupo JIBE’s administrative director, Diego Jiménez Berumen, said Penta Industrial Park Laguna represents a long-term commitment to the economic growth of Torreón, La Laguna, and Coahuila. He explained that the project seeks to provide infrastructure for companies that choose the region as a platform from which to develop their operations and expand their investments.
