Grupo Eissmann acquires a plant in Querétaro and consolidates its presence in North America

Grupo Eissmann completed the acquisition of the headquarters in Querétaro of the company KTSN , which joins the locations in Germany and Poland , of the previously insolvent Minda KTSN Plastic Solutions GmbH & Co. KG , which the group had taken over. since last March.

The newly acquired Mexican location employs around 130 people and is located in the middle of Mexico's “automotive hub”, the company noted in a statement, a region “with many plants of international car manufacturers such as BMW, Mercedes, GM, Mazda. and Honda, ”he added.

KTSN is one of the best-known automotive suppliers of injection molding technology and kinematics. In addition to glove boxes, seat trim and cup holders, the company produces kinematic (moving) and non-kinematic plastic components for the automotive industry.
By merging the different fields of expertise ( KTSN , and the recently acquired ingeneers CaR GmbH , which specializes in classic control devices in the field of comfort electronics), “ Eissmannwill significantly expand the product portfolio in the future. This means that completely new and innovative solutions can be offered for the automotive interior market, ”the company added in the letter.

Jay Deis, North American Managing Director of the Eissmann Automotive Group , said that with this acquisition the company now has two locations in Mexico, thereby positioning itself even more broadly in the market in this region.
