Grupo Corporativo Papelera to Invest 1.7 Billion Pesos in Edomex: Expansion in Huehuetoca and Tepetlaoxtoc

Grupo Corporativo Papelera, a manufacturer of hygienic paper products, announced that it will close 2025 with investments exceeding 800 million pesos in its plants located in Huehuetoca and Tepetlaoxtoc, resources that have been applied since last year.

Industrial Expansion in Huehuetoca and Tepetlaoxtoc

The Secretariat of Economic Development of the State of Mexico indicated that the company has also projected an additional investment of 900 million pesos over the next two years. This amount will be allocated to the expansion of operations, a decision attributed to the favorable conditions that ensure the company’s permanence in the state.

“With these investments, Grupo Corporativo Papelera reaffirms its confidence in the State of Mexico and in the conditions we provide to support its growth,” stated Laura González, head of the Secretariat of Economic Development.

Technological Modernization and Enhanced Competitiveness

According to the agency, the projects include the expansion of production lines, technological modernization, and the adoption of processes aimed at increasing operational efficiency. These initiatives are designed to strengthen the company’s competitiveness in both the national and international markets.

With these new investments, an increase in the generation of direct and indirect jobs is expected, along with a positive impact on the local supply chain.
