Grupo Amistad is going for new projects

Before the growth
foreign investment has had in Guanajuato, mainly encouraged by the automotive
industry, the demand for industrial spaces has also increased.
To answer to this development, Grupo Amistad announced some of the new projects and investments arriving to their industrial complexes.
In interview for Mexico Industry, Marco Ramon, president of Grupo Amistad, announced that they are analyzing some areas to develop a new industrial park.
“Leon is a market we are interested in; soon we will announce some investment there. It is a market I believe has an enormous potential,” he said. He also mentioned that they recently fulfilled an assessment of sites in Hidalgo, Estado de Mexico and San Luis Potosi.
Regarding this, he said that the developer is always looking to have alternatives of land to take infrastructure and serve the same organic growth of its customers who ask them for other locations.
PARKS IN GUANAJUATO
Grupo Amistad is
originally from Ciudad Acuna, Coahuila; they have three industrial developments
in Guanajuato: Amistad Bajio Industrial Park, Amistad Celaya Sur Industrial
Park and Amistad Chuy Maria Industrial Park.
“We still have some hectares available at the Amistad Bajio Industrial Park; 70 % of the Amistad Celaya Sur Industrial Park is already sold and at the Amistad Chuy Maria Industrial Park we are thinking in expand, we have property land where to grow and we want to consolidate in this point,” he detailed.
Marco Ramon, president of Grupo Amistad explained that currently at the Amistad Chuy Maria Industrial Park three companies already signed: MUBEA, Bosch and GMD.
He underlined that the French company GMD, from the automotive sector, will start the construction of their building.
Meanwhile, the German MUBEA bought 11 hectares and already is planning in expanding; and the company Bosch, which acquired 22 hectares and recently started the construction of its plant.
It is important to remember that, in April, MUBEA announced an investment of 112 million dollars in a plant to produce stabilizer bars, metal tubes and other chassis components. By the end of August, Bosch began the construction of its manufacture center to which will address 120 million dollars to manufacture electronic components.
Finally, Marco Ramon announced that they are closing three intention letters with other European customers seeking to settle in this industrial complex.
