Grand Opening: KOSTAL's New Technology Center Begins Operations in Querétaro

In a strategic move, KOSTAL, the leading German automotive electronics company, has announced the relocation of its product development and administrative activities to the KOSTAL Technology & Administration Center (KTAC) in Querétaro.

The KTAC, spanning four floors and covering an area of two thousand square meters, will house various administrative departments responsible for critical functions such as Purchasing, Information Technology, Controlling, and Finance. Additionally, the center will feature cutting-edge laboratories dedicated to prototype creation, software validation, and power electronics development.

The decision to establish the KTAC is in response to the growing demand for advanced technological and administrative support from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). This move is expected to drive technological innovation and economic growth within the region.

Dr. Harry Asher, President and CEO of KOSTAL North America, expressed his enthusiasm for the KTAC's potential to foster innovation and productivity among employees. He emphasized the center's role in providing an environment conducive to professional growth and creativity.

KOSTAL, a Tier 1 German automotive electronics company, already has a significant presence in Mexico, with four manufacturing plants. The company specializes in producing comfort electronics, power electronics, and comfort and driving controls, contributing to the advancement of the automotive industry in the region.
