GP Desarrollos continues to strengthen its industrial portfolio in Monterrey as Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions inaugurated a third building within the developer’s Pocket Park Oriente, expanding one of the company’s largest manufacturing campuses in Mexico.

The new 168,000-square-foot facility increases Cadrex’s operational footprint to approximately 573,000 square feet of advanced metal fabrication space integrated across the Monterrey campus. The expansion underscores both Cadrex’s sustained growth and the attractiveness of GP Desarrollos’ industrial platform for high-value manufacturing operations.

Consolidating Advanced Manufacturing in Pocket Park Oriente

The newly opened building is fully integrated into Cadrex’s existing operations and will support fabrication, sub-assembly, and final assembly processes. Centralizing specialized fabrication equipment within a single facility is expected to optimize production flow, reduce internal logistics complexity, and improve assembly line efficiency.

For GP Desarrollos, the expansion highlights the capacity of Pocket Park Oriente to accommodate scalable manufacturing projects requiring modern infrastructure and operational flexibility.

Supporting High-Growth Technology Sectors

Cadrex’s Monterrey campus primarily serves customers in the ICT sector, including data center infrastructure, artificial intelligence and machine learning systems, and network communications technology. These industries demand precision manufacturing capabilities, advanced metal fabrication, and reliable supply chain integration.

By expanding production capacity in Monterrey, Cadrex strengthens its ability to support complex programs and accelerate time-to-market for customers operating in fast-evolving technology segments.

Reinforcing Monterrey as a Strategic Manufacturing Hub

The continued growth of tenants within GP Desarrollos’ industrial parks reflects Monterrey’s position as one of Mexico’s most competitive manufacturing locations. The region offers a skilled workforce, robust supplier networks, and proximity to the U.S. market—factors that remain central to nearshoring strategies.

Cadrex’s decision to scale operations within the same park demonstrates long-term confidence in both the local industrial ecosystem and the developer’s infrastructure platform.

As demand for advanced manufacturing space grows, expansions like this reinforce the role of specialized industrial developments—such as Pocket Park Oriente—in enabling companies to expand efficiently while maintaining operational continuity.
