Goldbeck Solar invests 700 thousand euros in SLP and goes for a new project in Querétaro

With an investment of approximately € 700,000 , the Goldbeck Solar company completed the construction of a solar plant with trackers and bifacial panels in the state of San Luis Potosí. 

This type of open field projects, close to industrial zones, represent the new concept that the German firm introduces to the market for Mexican industry.

The "Autodromo" project , explained the German company through a statement, "was built with cutting edge technology and first quality." 

The plant has an installed power of 554 kilowatt-peak (kWp) and generates 1,358 megawatt-hours (MWh / year ), thanks to its generation capacity of 2,450 kWh / kWp / year .

The facility is located in the municipality of Villa de Zaragoza, San Luis Potosí , on three hectares of agricultural land. 

Goldbeck Solar chose to locate in this region, because it is "particularly favorable for this type of energy infrastructure , because it has an excellent climate for the installation of solar panels, with high levels of solar radiation."

The construction of the solar plant took two months and included a half-kilometer transmission line especially for the project . The German company promotes this business model.

“Autódromo” was financed by the Goldbeck Solar Group , in cooperation with the project developer Notus .

NEW PROJECT

The German company also reported that it is in the development of another project in Querétaro , since "there are installed companies from the most dynamic sectors in Mexico, such as the automotive industry, aerospace, among other manufactures ."

The company seeks to continue its projects in the Mexican Bajío, as it warns that there is an important opportunity niche, due to weather conditions, its geographic location in the center of the country, its industrial potential and constant growth.
