German investments to continue arriving in 2019

Having as venue the state of Queretaro the German Mexican Chamber of
Industry and Commerce gathered its members from the Bajio area, aiming to
announce the actions agenda for 2019.
At his participation Edmund Duckwitz, general director of CAMEXA, underlined the work done in 2018 at the Bajio area, likely he said that one of the most important tasks for CAMEXA is to continue developing strategies to achieve Mexican companies looking for activities in Germany achieve concreting their operations.
On the other hand, he said the support will be reciprocal for all those companies of German origin wanting to create commercial partners or invest in our country; “we are confident on a positive economic development,” he ended.
The main objective of the offices opening for the Bajio area has been the consolidation of the activities and services offer in the region offered by CAMEXA to its members.
Our approach is rather addressed to the improvement of communication and linkage processes between the Chamber and among members; however, nationwide the objective is to grow members amount in 15 % in 2019, “as regional office we have the commitment of supporting in the achieving this objective,” detailed Thomas Meller, director of CAMEXA for the Bajio.
GERMAN INVESTMENTS WILL CONTINUE TO ARRIVE IN 2019
We know that at least 61 % of companies’ members of the German-Mexican Chamber of Industry and Commerce (CAMEXA) nationally have the intention of fulfilling investments during 2019 in the country, said Thomas Meller.
Nationally CAMEXA is a great promoter of the Mexican Model of Dual Formation,
since it is one of the main success columns of the German economy.
Germany wants to share this experience with Mexico and contribute in making the country even more competitive and attractive; regionally have been established actions in that matter in Aguascalientes and Guanajuato in coordination with educational and government institutions the experience in these two States is working as reference to begin a similar collaboration in the state of Queretaro.
“Beyond Dual Formation, in the Bajio office, we are working on a cooperation agreement with the Universidad Anahuac Campus Queretaro,” said the director of CAMEXA Bajio.
CAMEXA is part of the world network of German Chambers Abroad, with 140 offices in 92 countries, in Mexico it is the largest European Binational Chamber in the country.
Members from CAMEXA in the states of Queretaro, San Luis Potosi, Aguascalientes and Guanajuato have access to more than 100 events organized during the year nationwide which are conferences, seminars, informal meetings and social events.
Within this context, during 2018 began the implementation of the Sectorial Committees in the Bajio, where member companies gather to exchange information and experiences in a trustful environment.
Up to date, the Committees of Foreign Trade, Human Resources, Safety, Energy and Sustainability and Fiscal have been settled in the Bajio. During 2019, the Compliance Committee will be implemented.
It is worth mentioning that as part of the initial work of the Bajio office, a diagnosis was fulfilled on the needs to define the actions agenda of CAMEXA in the region, taking as reference the needs mentioned by its members will serve as an axis for the activities of 2019.
