First company arrives to the Torres Mochas Industrial Park

With an investment of 4.7
million dollars and the generation of 950 jobs, the company Sistemas de Arneses
K&S Mexicana opened its plant at the San Felipe Torres Mochas Industrial
Park, being this one the first company that arrives to this industrial complex.
Sistemas de Arneses K&S
Mexicana is dedicated to the design, development and manufacture of electric
harnesses for the automotive industry; it is located with an extension of 7
thousand square meters.
Regarding, Seiichiro
Imanaga, president of K&S Mexico, acknowledged the effort of workers
formally start with the three integrated production lines on a first stage for
220 workers.
“As you can observe we
still have spaces therefore we can hire 500 people and it is possible to hire
more than 900 or 1,000 people, seeking to be the main plant of K&S Mexican;
the personnel has gone to other plants to be trained, the production startup is
the reflection of the effort of all of you therefore I am very grateful,” he
said.
Sistemas de Arneses K&S
Mexicana is a Japanese company subsidiary of Sumitomo Electric Group.
In the last 6 years, 84
companies have arrived to the entity with an investment of more than 3,890
million dollars and the generation of more than 26,200 jobs.
K&S is present in
several cities, mainly in the center of the country, as in Aguascalientes,
Salinas, Calvillo, Jerez and now in San Felipe; nationally it has more than
3,700 workers.
Its new plant in the
state is located in an extension of 7,000 square meters having as main
customers the assembler Nissan in Aguascalientes and Nissan North America with
the manufacture of harnesses for March, Versa, Sentra, Altima models among
others.
