FINSA, a prominent developer of industrial parks, has announced the construction of its fifth industrial park in Nuevo León, named "FINSA Monterrey Apodaca II." The park will span 79 hectares and accommodate up to 20 companies from various industries, potentially generating over 35,000 jobs.

Sustainable Industrial Parks

This new development is part of a new generation of sustainable industrial parks, strategically located in one of the main industrial corridors in northern Mexico, with connectivity to the United States. Unlike other industrial parks, this one will feature various environmentally friendly practices, including water treatment plants for liquid reuse and solar panels to power common areas. It will also maintain an active 20 MVA electrical substation and a LEED certification.

Economic Impact and Nearshoring

The project will be carried out in two phases on recently acquired land, as explained in a statement by Sergio Argüelles, President and CEO of FINSA: "We are very excited to begin this new project in Nuevo León, which responds to market demand and interest in Mexico; nearshoring continues to be a key driver for the Mexican industrial sector, and we are ready to seize this opportunity by creating sustainable spaces with the appropriate infrastructure."

Commitment to Quality and Employment

Argüelles added, "FINSA's commitment to Mexico is to drive the industrial development of our country with parks that have the necessary infrastructure for the best global companies to establish their operations, and most importantly, to create job opportunities in dignified spaces." The new park aims to boost the country's economic development, generate jobs, and strengthen competitiveness in the face of nearshoring. "This new industrial park will maintain the high-quality standards with the appropriate certifications, sustainability elements, safety, and social responsibility that have always characterized all our spaces," concluded the President.

FINSA Monterrey Apodaca II

Currently, FINSA has developed four industrial parks in Nuevo León: FINSA Guadalupe, FINSA Monterrey Apodaca, FINSA Santa Catarina, and FINSA Santa Catarina II. These industrial infrastructures host 94 companies that generate around 31,000 jobs. The productive sector located in these parks is dedicated to various industries, including automotive, electronics, metalworking, warehousing, and logistics.

With the new FINSA Monterrey Apodaca II industrial park, the aim is to attract new companies from these and other productive sectors to strengthen the economy. FINSA is a leading developer of industrial parks nationwide, with 24 industrial parks covering 3.7 million square meters, managed and leased.
