Festo begins construction of its plant in Nuevo León to offer automation solutions

Festo started the construction of its new plant, it will have three phases of construction, in which they will be investing 100 million dollars .

This plant located in Salinas Victoria, Nuevo León, will be ready by 2025 and will gradually generate around 1,500 direct jobs. 

With this manufacturing complex, Festo will offer automation solutions to sectors such as the automotive, mining, pharmaceutical and electronic sectors.

In Mexico, Festo has representations throughout the country and operations for more than 50 years, with a presence in 176 countries, and advancing in the consolidation of the leadership of Industrial Automation in North America .

That is why the Board of Directors  decided to expand the capacity of the Business Regions in North America (NAM) and South America (SAM ), with the new strategic approach " Local for Local ", where the objective is to open up the great potential for growth of these markets.

New plant in Mexico

Until now, Festo did not produce in Mexico, however, the country occupies a key position as a production location for supplying the North American markets and is becoming increasingly important for supplying the South American market.

Monterrey is one of the most important industrial centers in Latin America and is considered one of the most attractive university cities in Mexico.

Festo is connected to important customers and technical universities, and maintains a didactic training center and a sales office in this city.

The land for the construction of the plant is located in the "Interpuerto Monterrey" Industrial Park .
