Ferrero will increase production at its Guanajuato plant

Ferrero de México celebrates 30 years of presence in the country, and to reaffirm its confidence, it announced a new investment that will increase production at the plant located in San José Iturbide, Guanajuato.
In addition, the factory will expand its storage capacity, for which the company will inject capital for more than 1,000 million pesos , destined to the development of a new production line for Kinder Chocolate and Kinder Maxi , in order to supply the Mexican markets. and the United States.
Production start is projected to be scheduled for the second half of 2023; and the new production line will be developed with state-of-the-art technology that characterizes Ferrero plants ; and that allows to maintain the high standards of quality and freshness in all its products.
Currently, Ferrero de México generates more than 2,200 direct jobs. This project will make it possible to hire new collaborators who are integrated into the company's work culture, based on respect, inclusion, motivation and personal development.
Likewise, the plant expands its storage capacity with new facilities in 23,400 square meters of land . The storage capacity of materials will be doubled, ensuring and preventing the needs that will be generated with the progressive growth of production.
Paolo Cornero, president and CEO of Ferrero de México y Centroamérica, stressed the importance of this new investment, precisely on the 30th anniversary of Ferrero in Mexico .

This investment will increase exports, which is approximately 40% of total production, and will also reach a production capacity of 60,600 tons .
