EXCO Technologies Limited to generate 100 high specialized jobs in the region

With the consolidation of an investment agreement for 25 million dollars, the Canadian company Exo Technologies announced their arrival to the state of Queretaro.
The Canadian firm specializes in design, construction and development of molds for the automotive industry. Its production plant in Queretaro anticipates the generation of 100 high specialized jobs in the region.
The investment announcement was given after the work tour of Francisco Dominguez Servien governor of Queretaro to Canada. The state official also participated in the Seminar of the Automotive Industry by AA, he promoted Queretaro as an opportunities destination for different industrial sectors in that nation.
Francisco Dominguez noted that for 2020 the landscape of opportunities in Queretaro is encouraging and it is expected that more than 5 million cars are produced in Mexico.
He underlined that 300 companies from the automotive sector are settled in Queretaro, which participate with talent, ideas and logistics capability to serve such production volume.
Later, the group led by the governor had a meeting with the Mexican general consul in Toronto, Porfirio Thierry Munoz Ledo, to talk about collaboration perspectives between Ontario and Queretaro; as well as of the benefits of the triple helix economic growth model, aiming to open exchange channels between both regions.
During this economic and diplomatic promotion session, the governor also visited Daniel Kajouie, president and general director of the company WGames, leader in high technology videogames.
Queretaro’s potential was exhibited there as mindfacture destination and CITs, with the objective of settling the bases for a potential project of investment at medium term.
The head of the state executive power visited the parliament in Ontario, where he gathered with Michael Parsa, assistant of the economic development minister, employment creation and commerce. During the meeting they talked about opportunity areas between both regions, agreeing on the importance of close collaboration ties.
