Emotiv Mobility Expands Operations with New Automotive Plant in Monterrey

Emotiv Mobility announced the opening of a regional office and a manufacturing plant in Monterrey, as part of its strategy to expand operating capacity in Mexico and strengthen service to North American automotive manufacturers. The new site will provide assembly, sequencing, and just-in-time support, reinforcing the company’s integration into the regional automotive supply chain.

Amid North America’s industrial reshoring momentum, Mexico continues to consolidate its role as a key platform for automotive manufacturing, supported by a strong supplier base, specialized talent, and proximity to the United States. Within this environment, Monterrey and the state of Nuevo León are increasingly positioned as strategic hubs for advanced industrial operations, logistics, and high-value manufacturing.

Automotive-focused industrial expansion

Emotiv Mobility’s new plant is designed to deliver assembly operations, material sequencing, and subassembly, as well as scalable manufacturing, specialized packaging, and logistics execution. These capabilities are intended to support current and future automotive programs that require flexible production synchronized with evolving vehicle platforms.

The company will also integrate MSS (Material Sequencing and Subassembly) capabilities and just-in-time models, enabling improved inventory management and faster response times for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). This operational infrastructure aligns with demand for more resilient supply chains across the North American market.

Monterrey as an engineering and operations hub

The new regional office in Monterrey will serve as a base for engineering activities, operational management, and program support. From this location, the company aims to strengthen collaboration with customers and strategic partners operating in Mexico, while improving coordination of manufacturing projects across the region.
