Eaton , an energy management company, announced its sixth assembly plant in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua , in which it will be generating an investment of 100 million dollars.

The Eaton Bravos factory , which is being built in the south of the city, was announced in November 2020, and will create more than 500 direct jobs in the region.

This plant will assemble miniature circuit breakers, used in numerous commercial, residential and industrial applications .

Production will be supported by cutting-edge technology, according to Yunuel Ramírez, the company's communications specialist, and will include highly automated assembly processes and machine connectivity to improve productivity, as well as high-precision defect prevention and increased overall effectiveness.

Sustainability will be at the core of operations through various practices, such as zero discharge of process water and zero waste to landfill.

It is worth mentioning that the building will have the LEED Gold certification from the United States Green Building Council .

“We are pleased to add new operations in the region. The opening of this plant will enhance Eaton's presence in the North American market and allow us to reduce potential supply chain disruptions. In addition to creating more than 500 jobs, the company represents a significant investment in our regional economy. Our markets continue to expand, driven by new products and innovative applications that not only increase personal safety, but also integrate features that will allow the integration of renewable energy sources ”, said José Ramón Valencia, manager of this new plant.
