Donna Mayor Promotes International Bridge for Cross-Border Trade

David Moreno, mayor of the city of Donna, Texas, met with transportation representatives from Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas to discuss the promotion of the Donna-Rio Bravo International Bridge for cross-border trade processes. The route offers an efficient alternative by allowing empty trucks to cross from north to south, avoiding long lines and providing direct connections to industrial parks in northern Tamaulipas and southern Texas.

Moreno was accompanied by Carlos Yerena, Donna city administrator, and Marisela Gonzalez, manager of international bridge operations.

The meeting took place in the city of Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas, where Verónica Salazar Ávila, the acting municipal government head, emphasized the importance of maintaining collaboration and cooperation with Donna, Texas. Salazar highlighted the transporters' acceptance of this route, focusing on the logistical benefits it offers.
