Dayou Autoparts starts operations in Nuevo León; will provide steering wheels for Kia and Hyundai

Dayou Autoparts inaugurated its new production plant in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León, with which it will generate 300 new jobs .
From these facilities, a production of up to 1,200 automobile steering wheels is expected , which will be destined for automotive manufacturers such as Kia and Hyundai .
It should be noted that the Korean company also announced that it will invest 20 million dollars by 2025, as well as the construction of two new plants in the state .
Lee Seok Geun, CEO of Dayou Autoparts Global , commented that with this investment they hope to offer the best product with established suppliers and guaranteed quality.
"We will implement the growth of Dayou Autoparts in Mexico by contributing our effort and passion with the workers of this place," he said.
For his part, Iván Rivas, State Economy Secretary, said that the automotive sector is one of the most solid in the Nuevo León economy. Of the 141 investment projects that have arrived in this administration, 26% correspond to this item.
“We are very pleased that Dayou has chosen Nuevo León for the production of automobile steering wheels. We are sure that they will find very favorable conditions for their operations, so many, that hopefully they will continue to grow”, he added.
