Danfoss Inaugurates New Plant in Monterrey and Celebrates 30 Years in Mexico

Danfoss México celebrated three decades of presence in the country with the inauguration of its new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Monterrey, Nuevo León. The event was attended by Kim Fausing, representatives from the Embassy of Denmark, Emmanuel Loo, Deputy Secretary of Investment and Innovation of Nuevo León, and global executives of the company.
The new facility is part of the Climate Solutions segment, specializing in technologies such as compressors, microchannel heat exchangers, condensing units, and sensors.
Investment and Consolidation in Mexico
Danfoss has invested more than $100 million USD in Mexico over the past four years, strengthening the country as a key and growing market since 1995. This new plant represents a strategic decision to be closer to the U.S. and Latin American markets.
With more than 3,000 employees in Mexico and 40,000 globally, the company highlights the talent and commitment of its local workforce as a driving force behind its expansion.
Impact on Energy Efficiency and Data Centers
The project in Nuevo León will increase production capacity and generate new job opportunities in the region.
The technologies produced will help reduce emissions and enhance performance in air conditioning systems, refrigeration, and data center infrastructure. During the ceremony, the Danish Ambassador emphasized that this plant exemplifies how economic growth and environmental responsibility can advance together.
