Daikin announces investment of 300 million dollars in San Luis Potosí

Daikin , the multinational company in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) industry announced an investment of 300 million dollars , that is, 6,000 million pesos in San Luis Potosí, for the installation of its second production plant in Mexico that will arrive in 2024.
This plant will be responsible for manufacturing residential and commercial products , both with innovative and sustainable technologies, reported Andrés Benavides, general director of Daikin Manufacturing Mexico .
With this investment, San Luis Potosí will benefit from the creation of more than 2,500 new jobs that the Japanese firm will generate ; With this, recognized the head of the Secretariat of Economic Development, Juan Carlos Valladares Eichelman, the trust that more companies from the East have in the entity is reaffirmed.
Likewise, Shigeki Hagiwara, senior associate officer and representative of Latin America at Daikin Industries, LTD, highlighted that they seek to position the company as the leader in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning industry throughout the American continent, in the countries where it has presence.
With the arrival of Daikin in the state, San Luis Potosí is positioned as one of the most viable entities for investment in Mexico, said Andrés Benavides.
