Coparmex León Metropolitan Area celebrates its 90th anniversary

Businessmen and partners of the Employers' Confederation of the Mexican Republic (Coparmex), León Metropolitan Area, celebrated their 90th anniversary of foundation, where they stressed that Guanajuato is still an ideal state for investments despite the economic conditions that have affected the entire country.

In his speech, Alberto Javier Ruenes Escoto, president of Coparmex León, said that during these nine decades the work has been arduous, since they have adapted to the demands of the industry and the generational changes that require a constant update on issues and strategies.

"We believe that the current situation in the country is not disastrous, we do not have a hopeless future, on the contrary, we have to implement more and better strategies so that the generation of jobs and working conditions improve day by day," he said.

He reiterated that Coparmex has maintained the strength for 90 years integrating profiles that serve as a pillar so that today the confederation is maintained and remains an important point of support for public policies and economic strategies created and implemented in Guanajuato and the country.

"Reaching nine decades of existence is not easy and, above all, reaching that age with the same strength and strength with which they began is not easy and this speaks of the efforts of great leaders with business awareness," he said.

He argued that the coordinated intervention of the state and the business sector is important, because within the current scenario, constant monitoring is required to achieve objectives.

For his part, José Medina Mora, national vice president of Coparmex, guaranteed that from this confederation the rule of law, security and strategies to achieve social equality will be defended, as well as the economic aspect, since he added that throughout the 90 years that the confederation has lived paid for the independence and autonomy of the Bank of Mexico, the INE, the appearance of the INAI, and the National Human Rights Commission.

Within the framework of the 90th anniversary, awards were given by the municipal and state authorities to the former presidents and the president of the confederation, as a recognition of his great work and career within it.

The Employers' Confederation of the Mexican Republic (Coparmex) was founded on November 29, 1929 in the city of León, Guanajuato, headed by Don Ricardo Montes de Oca, promised a great change for the city; Now 90 years later, they seek to integrate young entrepreneurs and thus include new ideas and projects.
