Authorities from Edinburg, Texas, attended the groundbreaking ceremony for Siddons-Martin Emergency Group , a company that will begin the construction process in North Industrial Park in this Texas town.

Mark Hanna of Hanna Development highlighted that it's not just about a new 12,000 square foot building , the jobs that will be created and the economic impact for the region; but the most important thing to highlight with this inauguration is the part that implies the service that can be provided for the management of emergencies in the region to save lives.

“This was possible thanks to the support of a great team: Ernesto Silva, from Silva Management Solutions; Hugo González, of Gonzalez Engineering Management; to the Edinburg Economic Development Corporation, and Ramiro Garza, Mayor of Edinburg,” Hanna noted.

Lion Martin, president of the Siddons-Martin Emergency Group service area , noted that the company was founded by his parents in 1974, and he is proud that Edinburg is now part of this family.

For his part, Ramiro Garza thanked the directors of the Siddons Martin company for the confidence to invest in Edinburg.

“Edinburg is growing and it is because of our people, because of our community; furthermore, in this community everyone is involved in economic development”, highlighted the mayor.

Hiren Govind, president of the Edinburg Economic Development Corporation , also thanked the leadership of Siddons Martin for creating opportunities for this region, which will lead to better health, more jobs and growth in economic development.
