Construction begins on second SKF plant in Nuevo León

SKF Mexico started the construction of its second plant in Nuevo León , with the laying of the first stone in the municipality of Guadalupe.
This manufacturing complex will be located in the Kalos Industrial Park , and has an investment of 2,000 million pesos , which will also be used for the implementation of 4.0 technology, which will help in the production of automotive and industrial bearings.
This new project will generate 1,600 jobs and will be the group's largest operation in the West.
SKF is a Swedish multinational company, engaged in the design and manufacture of bearings, industrial seals, mounted bearings and housings, lubrication management, condition monitoring systems, maintenance products, power transmission solutions, slewing rings, ball joints yes, among others.
The European company has four plants in Mexico: Apodaca, Guadalajara, Zapopan and Puebla.
Those who were present at the laying of the first stone were: Zelina Fernández, undersecretary of investment; Gunnar Aldén, Ambassador of Sweden in Mexico; Cristina Díaz, mayor of the municipality of Guadalupe; Gustavo Molero, General Director of SKF Mexico and Juan Rivas, manager of the Monterrey plant.
