Given that
Silao is becoming an important point of development and growth where industrial
activity is exponential, the activity of companies in charge of working with
scrap generated by the automotive industry is necessary.
Regarding this,
Luis Benitez, general director of Pimsa, said that they have been working for
more than a year in Guanajuato with some companies such as ZKW, to those
recycling all their industrial wastes.
Pimsa also
commercialized different types of plastics such as polyamides, polystyrenes,
polypropylenes, polycarbonate, among others, having a comprehensive service of
industrial wastes management.
In addition,
they sale and lease pre-owned collapsible plastic containers for the management
of their materials and provide maintenance to them.
“Having a
company that use this kind of wastes is important for the industry in Mexico,
as even that thousands of plastic wastes are disposed, only few companies
achieve reintegrate them again and we have all the required equipment to do
it,” he noted.
He said that
recycling is the first chain in environmental care and the use of materials,
therefore, he said that Pimsa is the best option in engineering plastics,
virgins and recycled from the automotive industry.
Pimsa manages
approximately 60 tons of industrial waste per year, with which is fulfilled a
favorable cycle for the use of plastic, exclusively from engineering, this
means, the one disposed as part of the processes fulfilled by companies from
the automotive industry.
“We approach
the company, know their needs and make them a proposal suitable to what they
need, as we have too much experience, we have several tools to provide them
with a solution to best suit to what they need,” he explained.
Pimsa Silao
represents the first step to collaborate with the automotive industry in the
State, Benitez said that they have more plants dedicated to specializer
recycling in the region, nevertheless, he anticipated they are planning to grow
the Silao plant and implement not only the recycling of plastics mill, but the
processing of resins as it is already done at the plant in Queretaro, where
resins are reformulated to be reused as raw material or even, manufacturing
some final consumption products.
Likewise, he
noted as possible development points in San Luis Potosi and Aguascalientes
since it is there where the industry has gain room.

In addition of
working with scrap from companies, they sale and lease pre-owned collapsible
plastic containers at prices cheaper than the new ones.
Its leasing is
per day, month or year with a guarantee use of 360 days against defects
according to specifications, which only include their substitution in
plant.
They have the
service of plastic sales underlining their quality and pricing on virgin and
recycled plastics such as ABS, polyamides / nylon (PA), polyacetals (POM),
polypropylene (PP), polycarbonate (PC), high polyethylene and polystyrene
(HIPS.)
