Coahuila and Durango join forces with the creation of clusters for development

The Lagoon is one of the most important regions of Coahuila, since in addition to territorially encompassing municipalities such as Torreón, Matamoros, San Pedro, Francisco I. Madero and Viesca, it extends to Duranguense territory with the surrounding cities of Gómez Palacio and Lerdo, between others. For this reason, the joint work of both entities is essential for the development of the Region.
In that sense, the protest took place of the Industrial Cluster of Advanced Manufacturing and Automotive of La Laguna, as well as the Industrial Cluster of Clothing Manufacturers, which bring together the efforts of both entities with the common purpose of raising competitiveness from the area
The governors of Coahuila, Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís, and Durango, José Rosas Aispuro Torres attended the protest taking of both organizations, who voted for other businessmen to join these groups to improve the directions of the Lagunera Region.
The Coahuilense president
gave his support and support to work together with Durango for the
transformation of the country with better jobs for the lagoons.
“It was not my turn that a governor of Durango was so interested in La Laguna, and it is very important that we have agreed on this event. Coahuila and Durango are great allies. This has paid off, as companies continue to settle in La Laguna, ”he said.
On the other hand, José
Rosas Aispuro reaffirmed that the creation of these organizations has been
thanks to a synergy between industrialists, education and government
institutions, since with the modification of the Economic Development Law of
the State of Durango, the business groupings under the
cluster scheme.
“La Laguna is the region that after the State of Mexico is the only one that is made up of two states, a situation that calls for better collaboration. Witnessing the formalization of the protest taking of these two clusters is very pleasant, ”he said.
He acknowledged that when a company comes to Coahuilense territory in La Laguna, it means a benefit directly to that of Durango and warned that in coordination with Coahuila they work on economic development issues.
“In La Laguna, the only recipe we have is to work in coordination and in collaboration to see how each of the issues that have to do with the development of it are concretized. It is one of the most important regions of northern Mexico, ”he said.
INTEGRATE TO THE PRODUCTIVE CHAIN
The president of the Industrial Cluster of Advanced Manufacturing and Automotive of La Laguna, Gregorio Garza Rodríguez, said that raising the competitiveness of the region is the goal, because given the various international economic and technological changes, synergy and union are the key.
"One of the great
challenges in this sector, the manufacturing sector, is to integrate the entire
production chain, and bring large companies closer to medium and small
companies, especially in terms of technological development and
innovation," he said.
"Nothing better than the triple helix, that is, working hand in hand with the government and academic institutions, to face these changes," he added.
Likewise, the president of the Industrial Cluster of Clothing Manufacturers, José Juan Marcos González said that one of the most successful models for creating better conditions, opportunities and economic growth in the regions is the integration of business groups or clusters.
He emphasized that as an economic policy they are an extremely effective instrument to take advantage of the competitive advantages of a specific region or industry.
These are born with the objective of developing the apparel and advanced manufacturing industries through a cooperation and synergy strategy to achieve competitiveness that generates value and wealth for Durango, Coahuila and the Laguna Region, having as fundamental actors the Business.
