During the investment announcement, Coahuila Governor Manolo Jiménez Salinas highlighted that the arrival of new companies drives economic growth and creates job opportunities for families in the state. Torreón gains ground in manufacturing and technology in Mexico
Click Technology’s project includes a first phase with an investment of more than US$17 million for the construction of a new industrial plant. According to Bruse Li, General Manager of the company, Click Technology found favorable conditions for its expansion in Coahuila due to factors such as infrastructure, services, labor stability and industrial connectivity.
The arrival of this investment also reflects the progress of the Laguna region as a key point for supply chains related to advanced manufacturing and electronic components. State authorities noted that anchor companies established in the region, such as Milwaukee Tool, have helped drive new international investments in northern Mexico.
Luis Olivares Martínez, Coahuila’s Secretary of Economy, stated that Click Technology’s announcement comes in a global context marked by economic uncertainty, which reinforces the confidence international companies have in the state’s industrial competitiveness. He added that the state government will continue promoting conditions to attract high-value-added projects and specialized jobs.
For his part, Torreón Mayor Román Alberto Cepeda González said that this type of investment strengthens the city’s image among national and foreign investors. He also emphasized that coordination among the private sector, authorities and the industrial sector has helped consolidate an environment of certainty for new productive projects.
The expansion of technology and manufacturing companies in La Laguna comes at a time when northern Mexican states continue to see strong demand for industrial infrastructure and specialized talent. The installation of Click Technology strengthens Coahuila’s position within Mexico’s national map of manufacturing investment and nearshoring.
