CIL opens warehouse in Alamo, Texas

(CIL) opened two warehouses in Weslaco, Texas.
One of the warehouses has 82,500 square
feet and the second has 200,000 square feet, both addressed to cotton
warehousing; a product that has allowed extended the company capability, thanks
to that during 2019 a record figure was registered on its production.
For a project of this nature to be
possible there has to be the support of bankers, besides of the own city of
Weslaco, Texas which was an important part in the development of these new
warehouses were about 70,000 more cotton bales can be stored, each one of 500
pounds weight.

TEXAS AGRICULTURE
These warehouses were projected to
support the entire growth taking place in South Texas agriculture.
“Warehouses are located in the central
part of the production, this is why Weslaco, Texas was chosen to continue
growing,” said Laura Salazar, general manager at CIL.
This is a great achievement, same that was announced in April this year when the warehouse was opened in Alamo, Texas here Mr. Joaquin Spamer, president of CIL announced that the cotton season was in August and there was the production of an important volume; same that will be accomplished to the present day.
OPENING CEREMONY
Special guests were present at the
opening ribbon cut such as Senator Eddie Lucio, as well as representatives from
Senator John Corning. Authorities and special guests from Weslaco cut the
opening ribbon of the new CIL warehouses.
