Chinese Company Topband unveils $35 million plant in Nuevo León, creating 300 jobs

With
a $35 million investment, Chinese company Topband has inaugurated its plant in
Ciénega de Flores, Nuevo León, where it will manufacture electronic controllers
and create 300 new jobs.
As
a global leader in smart controls, Topband specializes in providing smart
control technology for home applications and industrial tools. With a workforce
of 11,000 employees, the company has established its presence in China, India,
Romania, and Vietnam.

Wei, vice general manager of Topband, expressed that the establishment of this
plant will enable them to better serve the American market and contribute to
the development of the local industry. He emphasized their commitment to
working closely with the government to promote economic development and mutual
prosperity.
Notably, China stands out as the second country with the highest investments in Nuevo León, surpassed only by the United States. Ivan Rivas, the State Secretary of Economy, highlighted that out of the 148 confirmed investment projects since the beginning of this government, 28 are from companies based in China.
