Chihuahua Strengthens Its Industrial Parks to Support Competitiveness and Workforce Growth

The State of Chihuahua continues to reinforce its position as a leading industrial destination in Mexico through a comprehensive program to modernize and upgrade its industrial parks. Led by the Secretaría de Innovación y Desarrollo Económico, the strategy focuses on strengthening infrastructure, improving operational reliability, and creating a safer, more efficient environment for companies and workers.

During 2025, the state allocated more than MXN 83 million to industrial infrastructure improvements, underscoring a long-term commitment to maintaining world-class conditions across its industrial corridors. These investments are designed not only to preserve assets, but to enhance the overall competitiveness of Chihuahua’s manufacturing and logistics ecosystem.

Modern Infrastructure That Supports Industry and Talent

Upgrades implemented across industrial parks include enhanced security systems, well monitoring, operational maintenance, LED lighting installation, and hydraulic repairs. Together, these actions contribute to a more resilient and efficient industrial environment—one that meets the evolving needs of global manufacturers and their supply chains.

The impact of these improvements extends directly to people and productivity. More than 75,000 workers and 405 companies operating in industrial parks located in Chihuahua, Cuauhtémoc, Ciudad Juárez, and Nuevo Casas Grandes benefit from safer facilities, improved services, and better operating conditions.

Strategic Projects with Long-Term Impact

In parallel, Chihuahua is advancing a series of strategic projects that strengthen the foundations of industrial growth. These include the development of a 2,500 m³ cistern tank to enhance water management, the first phase of CENALTEC training facilities in Cuauhtémoc and Chihuahua Norte, the equipment of the S-Park technology park, and the resurfacing of internal roadways within industrial parks.

Each of these projects addresses critical factors for industrial competitiveness—water security, workforce training, innovation capacity, and logistics efficiency—ensuring that Chihuahua’s parks remain attractive to both existing companies and new investors.
