Chihuahua reinforced its position as a leading aerospace hub in Mexico by hosting a commercial mission from Québec, one of the world’s most established aerospace regions. The initiative was organized by the Chihuahua’s Aerospace Cluster in coordination with the Chihuahua State Government, Investissement Québec, and the Delegación General de Québec en México.
The mission brought a delegation of Québec-based companies, government representatives, and industry stakeholders to Chihuahua for a series of meetings, industrial visits, and business matchmaking sessions.
Strengthening International Aerospace Collaboration
Québec is home to a globally recognized aerospace ecosystem, making the collaboration particularly relevant for Chihuahua’s export-oriented manufacturing base. By connecting companies from both regions, the mission aimed to facilitate technology exchange, supply chain integration, and future investment opportunities.
Participants engaged in discussions with government authorities and strategic partners, focusing on areas of mutual interest such as advanced manufacturing capabilities, specialized workforce development, and innovation-driven production.
B2B Engagement and Industrial Site Visits
A key component of the mission included B2B sessions with companies operating within Chihuahua’s aerospace cluster. These meetings enabled direct dialogue on production capabilities, sourcing opportunities, and potential joint ventures.
Industrial site visits provided delegation members with first-hand exposure to the region’s manufacturing infrastructure, quality standards, and operational scale—factors that are critical for integration into global aerospace supply chains.
Reinforcing Chihuahua’s Strategic Role in Advanced Manufacturing
The coordinated participation of public institutions, industry organizations, and private-sector partners reflects a mature public-private collaboration model that has helped position Chihuahua as one of Mexico’s most competitive aerospace regions.
As global aerospace production continues to diversify geographically, partnerships between established clusters such as Québec and emerging hubs like Chihuahua play a vital role in building resilient and interconnected value chains.
The mission underscores Chihuahua’s ongoing efforts to attract high-value investment, foster innovation, and strengthen international cooperation in advanced manufacturing sectors.
