Chihuahua Global EDC Showcases Advanced Manufacturing Strength at Expo Wiretech 2025

Chihuahua Global EDC, in partnership with the Municipality of Ciudad Juárez, participated in Expo Wiretech 2025 in El Paso, Texas, an event dedicated to wire processing and harness manufacturing. The showcase positioned Chihuahua as one of North America’s leading hubs for advanced manufacturing, emphasizing the state’s role in driving efficiency and reliability in global supply chains.
Regional Collaboration to Strengthen Manufacturing
The participation underscored the importance of cross-border partnerships to enhance growth and attract investment. Chihuahua’s automotive and electronics industries were presented as pillars of regional development, supplying high-value components such as wire harnesses and electronic systems to global OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
During the opening session, regional leaders including Cruz Pérez Cuéllar, Mayor of Ciudad Juárez; Ricardo Samaniego, El Paso County Judge; Mauricio Ibarra Ponce de León, Consul General of Mexico in El Paso; Adriana Pulecio, Head of Economic Development for El Paso; and Jesús Duarte, President of Expo Wiretech, highlighted the significance of binational cooperation in strengthening the manufacturing ecosystem.

Expo Wiretech 2025, now in its sixth edition and for the first time hosted in the United States, provided exhibitors with a platform to expand business opportunities, strengthen supply chains, and integrate more deeply into the North American manufacturing corridor.
For Chihuahua, the event reaffirmed its competitive advantages in workforce talent, infrastructure, and industrial expertise, making it an attractive destination for companies seeking nearshoring solutions.
