Checkpoint Systems has launched a new RFID manufacturing facility in Mexico City, strengthening its presence in North America and expanding production capacity to meet global demand.
Checkpoint Systems, a global leader in RFID technology and solutions, has officially opened its new RFID manufacturing facility in Mexico City, marking a strategic expansion to meet growing demand in North America and beyond. The move enhances the company’s global production capacity while improving supply chain agility and proximity to key customers.
RFID Facility Strengthens Regional Presence and Global Reach
Located in the heart of Mexico, the new 10,000-square-meter facility enables faster response times and greater operational efficiency. As RFID adoption accelerates across industries, the plant is positioned to deliver high-quality inlays for the retail and industrial sectors in an increasingly connected world.
The factory is equipped with advanced bonding, converting, and encoding machines, and specializes in the production of blank, printed, and encoded RFID inlays. It has an annual production capacity of 4.2 billion inlays and operates under strict international certifications, including SMETA and FSC CoC, ensuring excellence in both product quality and manufacturing standards.
