CCMEU starts operations in Queretaro to link companies with the United States

When starting their operations in Queretaro, the United States – Mexico Chamber of Commerce offered businessmen from the area, the conference titled “USMCA challenges and opportunities.”
Miroslava Perez Lopez, deputy general director of customs affairs and commerce facilitation, from the Under-secretariat of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Economy, was the one in charge of the afternoon lecture, underlining important points about rules of origin and customs procedures, solving questions: What are the changes to the elements that make the rules of origin? What are the changes in automotive matters? What are the changes in terms of customs procedures? Will the certificate of origin be eliminated? And what will the proof of origin be like under the new Agreement? Which are frequent among the main actors of the automotive sector as well as among the companies exporting or importing their products.
“Miroslava was chief of negotiation of the rules of origin at the USMCA, many of the changes of the new Agreement are related with the rules of origin, therefore, it is important for us to share with Queretaro company, the opinion of whom was directly involved in the negotiation,” said Sergio Arturo Nava Herrera, president of the United States – Mexico Chamber of Commerce Chapter Queretaro.
