BRP announces the expansion of its operations in Querétaro

BRP announced that it will invest 127 million pesos to expand its operations in Querétaro, for which it will be generating 600 new highly specialized jobs in the next two years.
It should be noted that BRP has manufacturing facilities in Canada, the United States, Finland, Austria, Australia and Mexico; in the state of Querétaro they assemble Sea-Doo personal watercraft and Rotax engines for Can-Am off-road vehicles .
For his part, the director of the BRP Querétaro plant , Mario Gebetshuber, explained that the project contemplates the incorporation of assembly lines for two-wheeled Can-Am electric motorcycles and the construction of a site for the manufacture of batteries for electric vehicles.
"We plan to start operations in the next two years, thus generating approximately 600 new jobs, each of these with high-quality technology that until now has not been seen in Querétaro," he stressed.
This announcement was made known during the visit of Mauricio Kuri González, state governor, to the company's headquarters located in Canada, where he thanked the organization for trusting him for having decided to join the entity more than 10 years ago.
The state president and representatives of the company from the automotive sector signed a letter of intent with specifications on the investment . Said document serves as a symbol of the commitment between the parties, and reveals the collaboration between BRP and the Government of the State of Querétaro in the development of the project.
