Bosch inaugurates expansion of its plant in Aguascalientes

Bosch inaugurated the expansion of its facilities and started up its new production line in Aguascalientes.

At the end of November 2021, the German technology company confirmed an investment plan in this region, which would have a capital injection of 74 million euros for the implementation of the IPB (Integrated Power Brake ) system, which integrates ESP technology ( Electronic Stability System) and an electronic brake in a single module.

Mohammed Abraham, regional president of chassis systems in North America for Bosch, stated that with this new project the company strengthens its mobility business  with another next-generation component and reaffirms its commitment to the Mexican plant.

The Bosch Aguascalientes Plant began operations 28 years ago and currently has more than 1,100 associates who work at the site dedicated to the manufacture of technologies such as iBooster, ABS and ESP. 

For his part, Orlando Ramírez González, vice president of Bosch Aguascalientes, pointed out that the positive effect of the current one depends on the importance of putting knowledge, effort and emotion to be able to get ahead, and the Mexican plant stands out for the role played by collaborators, by to be the fundamental pillar of the organization and in its progress in the industry. 

“The collaborators are committed leaders, they are the ones who drive us, and I confirm that they are the most valuable resource. Today we are gathered to celebrate the expansion of the production plant, which is a sign of recognition and commitment and passion for the excellence that we have, the trust that we have forged and with the results and reputation that we have today as a plant in the company”, he stated. .

Manuel Alejandro González Martínez, head of the Secretary of Economic Development  of Aguascalientes (Sedec), stated that Bosch arrived in the state 28 years ago and today, its presence continues to grow. For this reason, they are enthusiastic that the organization continues to reinforce its confidence in the entity, by launching a new production line that will help diversify the region with technologies that promote the mobility of the future.
