Borgwarner will expand its operations in Coahuila

Borgwarner announced that it will invest 47 million dollars and generate 450 new jobs in its expansion project at the plant located in Saltillo, Coahuila.
Borgwarner 's vice president and general manager , Mike Coetzee, highlighted that the company has had a presence in Mexico for more than 50 years, which is one of its main strategic partners, which is why they decided to continue involving Coahuila in their future projects.
It should be noted that the company has three plants in the state, where it produces components for light and commercial vehicles, both for the local and export markets.
In Mexico, Borgwarner is a major supplier to the commercial vehicle market , its products include turbochargers, alternators, starter motors, and fan clutches, among others.
In addition to the city of Saltillo, the company has plants in El Salto, Jalisco; Irapuato, Guanajuato: Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua; San Luis Potosi and Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila.
