BCS Automotive Interface Solutions opens plant in Querétaro

With an investment of 1,200 million pesos, the company BCS Automotive Interface Solutions inaugurated in Querétaro its production plant for steering control modules and other high-tech electrical components for the automotive industry.
“ We are proud to share that we have officially started the production of our first project for our strategic customer: the Wireless Electric Charger”, said KK Yuan, Global CEO of BCS Automotive Interface.
He revealed that, currently, they have potential projects of up to 2,000 million dollars , a planned investment of 200 million dollars, the expansion of two additional plants and the creation of a total of 3,600 local jobs.

The Wireless Electric Charger project, with which this plant starts, is intended for a strategic client.
According to the CEO, the Wireless Electric Charger is a technological bridge between a consumer product and the automotive sector , demonstrating the synergies between the BCS company and its sister company Luxshare-ICT .
"With the technological trends in the industry such as Autonomous Systems, Connectivity, Electrification and Shared Resources (ACES) we believe that our competitiveness will put us at an advantage."
This new manufacturing center of this company is located in the Querétaro Innovation Technology Park .
Mauricio Kuri González, governor of Querétaro, commented that this company, which has more than 70 years of experience in the automotive market, is integrated into the productive sector of Querétaro to promote more and better opportunities for the population.
Meanwhile, Marco Antonio Del Prete Tercero, secretary of Sustainable Development, said that the company, dedicated to providing solutions for the interior of vehicles that guarantee safe and comfortable control, will find in the people of Querétaro the necessary talent to manufacture steering control modules, complex switches, interface electrical control panels, and controls for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.
He stressed that, so far this year, 10 investment projects in the automotive sector have been completed, which represent an investment of more than 5,246 million pesos, and the generation of 1,453 new jobs.
BCS Automotive Interface Solutions has eight plants around the world , two of them in the US and four in Europe. While in Mexico it has a plant in Reynosa, Tamaulipas and the recently opened one in Querétaro.
The inauguration was attended by José Casas Domínguez, manager of the BCS Automotive Interface Querétaro plant; Nagaraj Narayan, Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of BCS North America; Luis Carlos González, Director of Strategy and Transformation and General Manager of BCS Europe; Marco Quiroz, regional plant manager of BCS Automotive Interface, among other invited representatives of the state and municipal government.
