Automann Expands into Mexico with Major Investment in San Luis Potosí

The American company Automann, a supplier of trailer and truck parts, is progressing with the construction of its new plant in San Luis Potosí, investing nearly $100 million and generating over 1,000 jobs.
Automann executives, along with Salvador Gonzales Martínez, the Secretary of Economic Development for the State (Sedeco), toured the future plant site. During the visit, the positive impact this investment will have on the state's automotive cluster was highlighted.
Automann Strengthens Its Presence in Mexico with San Luis Potosí Plant
Founded in 1994, Automann has established a strong presence in the North American market with six distribution centers across Canada and the United States. The company offers a wide range of products including brake system parts, steering components, polyurethane products, shock absorbers, and springs, all adhering to original equipment (OE) quality standards and certifications that ensure excellence. This commitment to quality has enabled Automann to achieve sustained growth and global expansion.
The new distribution center in San Luis Potosí will not only enhance Automann's offering with over 40,000 auto parts and accessories but will also feature prominent brands such as Continental, SKF, OTC, Gabriel, and Phillips, in addition to its own brand.
With this new project, Automann reaffirms its market position while contributing to the economic growth and job creation in San Luis Potosí, positioning the region as a strategic point on the global automotive map.
