Audi México Strengthens Electric Mobility with New High-Voltage Battery Production Facility

Audi México begins construction in San José Chiapa, Puebla, of its High-Voltage Battery Assembly Plant, aiming to produce 300 batteries daily, marking a milestone in electromobility within the automotive sector.
This plant is the first outside of Germany to produce high-voltage batteries and modules, underscoring Mexico's strategic role in the global growth of electric mobility.

The plant, which Audi aims to position as a leader in the production of key components for electric vehicles, will feature cutting-edge technology focused on energy efficiency.
The project also includes a specialized team of 350 trained individuals skilled in high-voltage management and the use of advanced technological tools, enhancing knowledge and skills transfer in the sector.
