Ascenty ratifies investment of 350 million dollars; will open two data centers in Querétaro

Through a virtual interaction with the governor of Querétaro, Francisco Domínguez Servién , representatives of the Brazilian company Ascenty ratified the decision of the technology company to install two new data centers in the state .
During the meeting, Ascenty's Vice President of Institutional Relations and Marketing, Roberto Rio Branco , explained that these data centers will have an area of 24,000 square meters each and will have the power generation capacity of 30 megavolt-amperes.
The state president, for his part, stressed that the investment in this new project will exceed 350 million dollars . With this figure, the total sum of Brazilian investments in the entity will reach more than 7,000 million pesos in less than a month.
Domínguez Servién also added that Querétaro has positioned itself as the second state with the highest Brazilian investment, nationwide, by attracting 565.3 million dollars from that country.

By mid-year, through a press release, Ascenty had reported that the company will add 22 data centers, in three countries, with the construction of these two locations , increasing the area of attention to the demands of national and multinational clients.
The two new Queretaro data centers are expected to start operations in 2021 .

The Brazilian company has an interconnection ecosystem that includes 4,500 kilometers of its own fiber optic network, connecting the data centers in operation , the main cloud providers in the world and the cable landing stations in Brazil .
