Artistic Milliners Expands Textile Operations in Coahuila, Creating Over 1,500 Jobs

Artistic Milliners is expanding its recently established operations in Parras, reinforcing Coahuila’s position as a competitive destination for textile manufacturing investment. The project will generate more than 1,500 direct jobs as the company scales production at its new facility.

The expansion forms part of the company’s broader growth strategy in Mexico and North America, reflecting sustained demand for high-quality denim and advanced textile products. State authorities confirmed that the investment strengthens the region’s industrial diversification beyond traditional sectors such as automotive and metals.

Job Creation and Competitive Business Environment

Coahuila has maintained strong employment momentum, ranking among Mexico’s top states for job creation. The state reported more than 11,000 new jobs generated in January 2026 alone and continues to lead nationally in formal employment rates, with approximately 70% of workers registered in the formal sector.

Local officials emphasized that public security, rule of law, and legal certainty remain decisive factors attracting global companies to the region. These conditions support long-term operational stability and supply chain integration for export-oriented manufacturing.
