Before the growth of
Guanajuato as meeting point for business, in addition of the settling of more
automotive assemblers and the opening of new industrial parks, the Association
of Private Industrial Parks of the State of Guanajuato (APIPEG, by its Spanish
initials,) it has consolidated throughout these 3 years since its foundation in
2015 aiming to make the Association grow.
Regarding this, Roberto
Villanueva, general director of APIPEG, mentioned that as main objective is to
create a stronger link between the real estate marked and the developers, by
providing advisory and other administrative services, with the objective of
serve as a channel between investments and job generation in Guanajuato.
“At the beginning we were
14 members and now we have 17, in addition we have signed institutional
alliances, among them: CONALEP, CLAUGTO, and State Government, among
others. We will continue in contact with
different instances related with the industrial development of the State and
the region aimed to position APIPEG not only in the state but regionally and nationwide,”
he explained.
He added that in the
program of Strategic Allies 24 companies are registered, which provide
different services to the industrial parks settled in Guanajuato.
He announced that one of
the main commitments as general director was to consolidate the Industrial
Parks directory, which was achieved in a period of five months; currently there,
is an interactive map of parks in the State, which was agreed together with the
Directive Council of the Associations.
“At the beginning, the
society did not know us, it was only identified inside the sector; however, it
has been an important challenge that people know what the association does,
because we influence also in more companies knowing the State and then,
generate jobs, we are part of that labor and we want for people to know about
the growth of their State and Municipality,” he assured.
He considered that APIPEG
is today known as an Association that is important part of the industrial and
economic development of the State; therefore he considered necessary the
positioning within the society to directly interact with the human capital and
companies’ growth.
“We are continuously
monitoring the consults being done to APIPEG, regardless if it is an industrial
or a developer, we are considering all internet searches to know who is
interested in knowing more about the Association and this way consolidate it
generally and not only among the industrial sector,” he detailed.
APIPEG is a business
organism created in 2015 aimed to represent owners, investors and directives of
developments, parks, sets and industrial buildings, before the Government,
Chambers, and Associations, national and foreign investors seeking for new
spaces inside the State of Guanajuato.
They offer different
services to its members as real estate spaces, property lands or industrial
lots, infrastructure, facilities and world-class services, as well as the lease
or sale of spaces.
In the construction sector
it offers management and design of industrial buildings, as well as customized
