The Aeroluster Querétaro successfully celebrated AeroSTEM 2025, an initiative designed to inspire young students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) with a focus on the aerospace and aeronautics sectors.
Held as part of World Space Week, the event gathered more than 350 students and educators from public and private high schools across the state, offering an immersive and dynamic experience that connected education with the future of aerospace innovation in Mexico.
Building the next generation of aerospace professionals
Throughout the day, participants engaged in inspirational panels featuring university students and recent graduates, vocational talks led by industry experts, and interactive university and corporate exhibits showcasing academic programs and career opportunities in the aerospace field.
The program also included a special planetarium screening at El Péndulo, allowing students to explore the wonders of space science while connecting them to real-world aerospace applications. Beyond technical knowledge, the event fostered curiosity, creativity, and teamwork — essential skills for the next generation of engineers and innovators.
Strengthening collaboration between academia and industry
AeroSTEM 2025 served as a bridge between academia, industry, and government, reinforcing Querétaro’s leadership as Mexico’s premier aerospace hub. The initiative was made possible through the support of the Secretaría del Trabajo, Concyteq, Secretaría de Educación, and Secretaría de Turismo, as well as numerous partner institutions and private sector allies.
By promoting STEM education and industry engagement, Aerocluster Querétaro continues to nurture the human capital that will design, build, and lead the aerospace future of Mexico.
