Acetileno y Oxigeno de Coahuila opens new plant in Arteaga

The plant will have a capability to produce 24 daily tons of nitrogen and oxygen, as well as an approximate of 30,000 cylinders per month.
Within the framework of the 25th anniversary celebration of its foundation, the company Acetileno y Oxigeno de Coahuila (AOC) Mexico opened its new cryogenic plant located in the municipality of Arteaga, with which it reiterates the commitment, together with the State Government, of generating conditions suitable for the arrival of new investments and for the growth of those already installed in Coahuila.
The new facilities, located at the deliverance Oscar Flores Tapia, had an investment of 3 million dollars, will produce one thousand cubic meters of oxygen and nitrogen, likewise in that area is installed and operating the Distribution Center of Bottled Gases.
AOC company was founded in 1993 and 25 years fulfilled a growth project which they decided to keep in our State thanks to its geographic location, ideal for businesses in the North America market, thus was assured by Miguel Angel Wheelock Aguayo, general director of AOC.
“We bet on the North American market and the geographic location of Coahuila is the optimum for this expansion project. In this new plant we have capability to produce 24 tons per day of nitrogen and oxygen, just like 30,000 monthly cylinders,” he said.
In addition he thanked his partners, friends and family, who supported
him to reach this new goal, reached despite adversities and difficulties; he
noted that with their preference, customers recognize the value of the service
and the quality of their work.
Besides Wheelock, Jaime Guerra Perez, secretary of Economy and Tourism attended in representation of the governor Miguel Angel Riquelme Solis, who presided the opening event of this new Cryogenic Plant and the mayor of Arteaga Everardo Duran Flores was also present.
After the opening ribbon cutting, authorities and guests fulfilled a tour by the gases plant while listening to the main processes performed.
AOC Mexico is a Mexican company dedicated to the production, packaging, analysis and gases distribution, with world class quality standards; among the industrial gases, special and medicinal are acetylene, argon, carbon dioxide, hydrogen, carbon monoxide, neon, oxygen, xenon, nitrogen, krypton and helium.
The company has facilities
in Coahuila, Sonora, Chihuahua, Nuevo Leon, Jalisco, Tamaulipas and Durango,
where they also have distribution centers expanded to Central America.
