58 companies arrive in Guanajuato; register 2,350 million dollars in investment attraction

The State Administration of Guanajuato 2018-2024 has generated the necessary confidence for national and foreign companies to invest 2,350 million dollars and more than 26,162 jobs committed in the region.

With the promotion of public policies in matters of economic and social development and the rule of law, 58 companies have reiterated their investment confidence in Guanajuato , since they find various competitive advantages such as strategic geographic location, logistics infrastructure, energy self-sufficiency, connectivity, job stability , transparency and fight against corruption .

Currently, with these figures in terms of attracting investment, the State Administration has managed to meet more than 40% of the six-year goal, which is located at 5,000 million dollars .

Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, governor of Guanajuato, commented that the region continues to be a leader in the Bajío region in attracting investment , in addition to the fact that several companies already established in the state have announced new investments, which generates optimism in the face of the economic crisis caused for the health contingency of Covid-19.

"Every day more global and national companies ratify their investment confidence in Guanajuato, a state that does not stop, Guanajuato is standing up generating more employment, generating more wealth and well-being for its people," he said.

In the entity, investments have been concentrated in the automotive sector, auto parts, services, metalworking, new technologies, plastics, textiles, aeronautics, agro-industrial, construction, ceramics and materials. 

The investments captured in this six-year period are from countries such as the United States, Germany, Japan, Austria, Canada, England, France, China, Italy, Mexico, Taiwan,  among others.

Likewise, companies such as Kohler, Taigene, Pepsico, Continental, P&G, Webasto, Nucor, GKN Sinter, CW technology, Eurocast, ZKW, Nestlé-Purina, JK Material, Vynmsa, Nucor, Stant, Serviacero and Fedex stand out .
